Easy To Making Penya

Short on money? Can’t even afford food? Can’t afford your equips? Fear not! This guide will tell you how to make money throughout your Flyff experience ^-^

Lately I have seen many money-making guides, but none of them are of practical use for people that don’t have a lot of money to start of with (i.e. merchanting), and/or they are limited in information, so I wanted to contribute my own two cents. This guide will give the reader a complete rundown from Lv1~Lv60 and all the ways they can accumulate money and level while doing that.

The pages will be organised into level periods, in which will be ways to make money during those levels. This will include quests, leveling places for the best drops, which levels to sell things, and stuff like Giant hunting etc.

At the bottom of some sections, there will be a little guide on how much items can be sold for- NPC items being NPCed, and greens being sold in shops.

Lv1-lv15

Lv1

This is the beginning level. At this level, go and fight aibatts for twinklestones. If you are planning to be an assist, this is perfect for you because you don’t need twinklestones, however, all the other classes do.

Once you get at least 10 twinklestones, sell these to people doing the job quest- you can set up shop, or shout if you are over lv20. Sell them for a price of around 10k-50k each. Try not to price them too high or you won’t be able to sell them, which can seriously cut into your cashflow.

Lv5

This is what the “Puppy Yorrn” looks like.

There is a quest at lv5 called “Lost Puppy Yorrn” which can earn you 15k. This is a good amount of money to get you going.

Level req: lv5

Quest giver: Loyah

Method:

1. Talk to Loyah, who is right next to the Flaris food store

2. Go to the Grownup Lawolf area, and look next to where the Giant Lawolf spawns. There will be something that looks like a scroll that drops from nothing.

3. Pick that up and take it back to Loyah.

Reward: 15,000 penya

Tip before doing job change

Doing the JeongHwa quest can earn you an easy 20k. Even better than the Lost Puppy Yorrn quest. Score!

A big thank you to Eber for the excellent pictures

This is the quest giver, JeongHwa.

Here is where Mayun, her son is.

Level Req: Lv10 (Thanks Alfredsson for the confirmation)

Quest Giver: JeongHwa, a women that stands opposite [Magic]Martin.

Method:

1. Talk to Jeonghwa.

2. She’ll tell you to find Mayun, her son, who is in Pumpkin Village.

3. Talk to Mayun.

Reward: 20k

Lv15

Completing the job change can earn you a few thousand penya. For details on the job change, check some job change guides.

Selling Prices:

NPC Weapons 800-1000 penya

NPC Armor 500-900 penya

Other Less than 100 penya

Green Weapons(Lv15) 500k-1m

Green Suits(Lv15) 500k-1m

Green Pieces(Lv15) 10k-50k

Lv16-Lv30

At this level, I don’t recommend setting up shops yet. This can really cut into your leveling time, in which you could be getting drops and NPCing them. People this level won’t really buy blues, even if they are statted, because they don’t have much money, unless you sell them for under autoprice. The only things you will sell are green pieces, because experienced players will come along and buy them, while they won’t even think about buying blues. Also don’t awaken stuff this early unless you have a higher level character to give you 10m+ to spam awakenings.

Lv18-Lv20

This is where Mutant Feferns are, which is a great place to level and farm drops.

I highly recommend going into Mas Dungeon at lv18, or lv19/20 if you want to be safe. Monsters in this dungeon have tightly packed spawns, and they have higher drop rates. Remember to take lots of food in here because there are a lot of aggro monsters. Pickup up all the drops, and remember: Take weapons over everything else. After a session in here, you will be sure to fill your inventory.

Now go back to town, I recommend taking blinks with you, which you can now use to get back to town. NPC all your drops, and you will get a total of around 100k. If you level here with a friend and a GB party, the drops will double, and when you go to town to clear your inventory, your friend can keep collecting drops.

Selling prices:

NPC Weapons 3k-5k

NPC Armor 1k-3k

Other Less than 100 penya

Lv25+

At this level, the best monsters to fight are Jack the Hammers (Lv28-29) and Giggleboxes (Lv30-31) because they usually drop a lot of good items, and especially Jack the Hammers drop a lot of weapons that used to be browns, which have a surprisingly high selling price. (Thanks to Muuzie for pointing this out)

Lv28-Lv30

The Vice Vedeques are in this room.

Once again, go back into Mas Dungeon. Now skip all the monsters and immediately go into the Vice Vedeque room. You will see a statue in the middle, and Vice Vedeques all around it. The trick here is that Vice Vedeques have a high drop rate, and very low HP. To get the best out of this, it is best to have buffs the whole time to increase killing rate. If you are an AoE assist, this is also a prime spot for farming. If you AoE everything in the room with burst crack, the money will come in extremely fast.

For optimum results, be sure to bring someone else with you. That way, you can alternate, and take turns farming the Vices and make sure no one else steals your spawn.

After an hour or so of farming, you should come out with a full or an almost full inventory. NPC everything except greens, and you should have close to 1m.

Lv30

At lv30, you will get to do the Red bang quest which can earn you a pretty penny

Find the Red Bang Thieves

Level Req: 30

Quest Giver: [Shield 2]Luda, who sells vagrant gear.

Method:

1. Talk to Luda.

2. Kill red bangs until you get 1 Head of Red Bang.

3. Return to Luda.

Reward: Exp.

Find the Cash Box of Luda

Level Req: 30 and finished previous quest

Quest Giver: [Shield2]Luda

Method:

1. Talk to Luda

2. Kill red bangs until you get 1 Cash box of Luda

3. Return to Luda

Reward: Exp.

Revenge of Red Bang Troupe

Level Req: 30 and finished previous quest

Quest Giver: [Shield2]Luda

Method:

1. Talk to Luda

2. Kill one Troupe Member of Red Bang, collect one Entanale sword (Drops from red bang)

3. Return to Luda

Reward: Exp and an Entanale Sword.

Identity of Red Bang Troupe

Level Req: 30 and finished previous quest

Quest Giver: [Shield2]Luda

Method:

1. Talk to Luda

2. Kill 5 Troupe Member of Red Bang, and one Troupe Leader of Red Bang. Collect 7 Symbols of Red Bang Troupe (Drop from red bangs)

3. Return to Luda.

Reward: 358,000 penya (Finally xD)

Selling prices:

NPC Weapons 10k-20k

NPC Armor 5k-10k

Other Less than 100 penya

Green Weapons(Lv30) 500k-1.5m

Green Suits(Lv30) 1m-2m

Green Pieces(Lv30) 100k-200k

Lv31-Lv45

This is where the money starts getting big. The autoprices starting reaching 100k+ so farming for blue drops becomes more important. A great resource for farming is the new Ivillis Dungeon in Lower SM, next to the Rockmuscles and Bucrows. The mobs in this dungeon range from lv45-lv70 and a lot of these monsters are aggro (red name), meaning they will attack at will, so be careful to not take a wrong turn or get pummeled

Otherwise, visit here when you have time, as it is full of possibilities and there is even an Ivillis Dungeon quest to get the most from this Dungeon.

Lv40+

At level 40, you can enter the Ivillis Dungeon. The monsters in here have high drop rates, as is usual with Dungeon monsters. The monsters you can fight in here are Ivillis Crashers (Lv45). In the room, the spawn is grouped together in several groups, and all the monsters are agro, so you have to be careful when fighting them to prevent yourself being swarmed.

These monsters and other monsters in this dungeon have a very high drop rate compared to other monsters’ sunstone drop rates, especially the Black Otems (Lv63). You can sell these sunstones for 1m-2m each.

Here is a map I pulled off flyfffansite, too bad it was copyright protected

http://flyfffansite.com/Maps/ivillistemple.htm

The Monsters

Ivillis Red Otem lv53- Red Model of Totemia.

Ivillis Crasher lv45- Model of Risem.

Ivillis Guarder lv45- Model of Luia (Giant status).

Ivillis Boxter lv65- Great for farming for Ivillines weapons, which can sell for 10m+

Ivillis Poisoner lv50 - Model of Scorpions.

Ivillis Quaker lv55 - Model of Kern. Has a giant status.

Ivillis Recker lv55- Model of Rockmuscles. Avoid them. They have a crap load of HP and have a stunning attack

Ivillis Black Otem lv63 - Black Model of Totemias. They have an awesome sunstone drop rate.

Ivillis Taker/Thief lv70 -Model of Tombstonebearers.

Ivillis Dozer lv60 -Model of Nuctuvehicle.

Ivillis Puppet lv70 -Model of Cardpuppets.

Ivillis Mushellizer lv65 -Model of Mong. Drops 2-3+ NPC equips that autoprice for around 100-200k each. Has a giant status.

This is what the Ivillis Crasher room looks like.

I also did some extra investigating into this dungeon and here are the pictures:

-Ivillis Puppets Lv65

-Ivillis Thief Lv70

Selling Prices:

NPC Weapons 300k-500k

NPC Armor 100k-200k

Others 500 penya and less

Green Weapons(Lv45) 5m+

Green Suit(Lv45) 10-20m

Green Pieces(Lv45) 1m+

Lv46-Lv60

Lv47-Lv52

At this level, you can either stay in Ivillis Dungeon fighting Red Otems, or you can go Plug hunting! Yay ^__________^ Rockepellers have a large chance of dropping Plugs, but other than that, they have high HP and are flying monsters. Uh-oh, time to whip out that board/broom/cloud/bike, and fly to the airspace between Plain of Bubble in Flaris (Where the Peakyturtles are) and Khipra 2 in Darkon (Where Tragfomas and Leyenas are).

For more details, go to Woxxy’s Plug hunting guide

Here is where the Rockepellers are:

Quest Items(Lv50+)

When you hit lv50, the exp gets lower. Quite a drop in exp actually. This means you stay at mobs for longer times, giving more time to collect the particular mob’s quest items. These are extremely helpful, giving exp (20%) and money(Usually 100k+ depending on level req of quest).

Quest items can be sold to high leveled people (Or over lvl50) needing exp. I (I’m not high leveled >< but still over lv50) usually go to the office quest person in Darkon, and check around shops that say: Quests… I usually spend a couple million at these kind of shops, and it gets me 20% and some money back. I only do this when I have skipped a mob (Bad me).

Lv59+

Depending on your equips and build, you can choose whether to fight Black Otems now, or later when your level is slightly closer to the Black Otems’ level (Lv63). I would recommend for you to be at second job before you farm there, because then there’s only a 3 level difference, and you will have new skills and have a better attack rate, especially since blades get an extra 75% attack from their second weapon.

Black Otems have an extraordinarily high drop rate for sunstones, which can be sold for 1m-2m each. Have fun farming here, because when you come out, you’ll feel a lot richer.

Selling Prices:

NPC Weapons 100k-200k

NPC Armor 50k-100k

Other 500 penya and less

Green Weapon(Lv60) 50m+ (G.Knuck 120m clean)

Green Suits(Lv60) 20m

Green Pieces(Lv60) 2m

Second Job- Lv60+

Lv60+ NPC Equips

After Lv83 (Thanks KitsuneChan), blues become rare and unavailable at NPCs. Because of this, there is a demand in these blue pieces from AoEing classes and so they can be sold in private shops- e.g. Elementors use a “customized” blue suit along with a 3/4 75 set. This is where farming for these NPC equips becomes an important source of income for your character, as one blue suit alone can already sell for 1m-10m depending of the level requirement and the level of upgrade. You can now awaken these suits to acquire a higher profit, especially if the awakenings suit the particular class equip.

Another source of money is within the sought after and rare lv60 blue sets. Many people collect these sets, if not use them. A giant that has a high chance of dropping these is the Giant Elderguard(Lv67) and the Giant Garbagespider (Lv69). (Thank you to muuzie for pointing this out, and the rare lv60 blues too.)The names of the sets are:

Giant Hunting

This is a very important way of making money because giants have higher drop rates for rings and NPC drops; giants usually drop 3-5 NPC pieces (more if you’re lucky), a ring if you’re lucky, a few hundred penya, food, and pots. The only giant that doesn’t is the Giant Sylilica, which is bugged and only drops food and pots. A really good giant is the Giant Elderguard (Lv67) which I’ve camped quite a bit, since it drops more than regular giants and each drop is at least worth 100k.

Preparation:

-At least one stack of star candies

-At least two stacks of Vital drinks or refeshers or none at all (Depends on your class and build; i.e. melee or skill spammer)

-At least 10 pills. More if you have low HP.

-Weapon elemented against the giant.

-Suit elemented to the same element as the giant. Many people prefer the element against the giant, but in my opinion, I think the possibility of hitting a zero on you is much better than reduced damage.

-An FS if needed. Buffs if needed. Preferably an RM to HC the giant.

-Leader of a GB party; use GB and FD to optimize drops, while using link attack to for optimum damage.(Not really mandatory)

Fighting the giant:

-Always replenish your health to at least 2/3 full. If in rage, keep it at full. Personally, I like to check the giant’s damage and crits, and base my fooding around that. When in rage, I just add a little bit to the original damage and crits.

-Use your pills, doofus.

-Keep up link attack if you have.

-Use GB and/or FC just before the giant is about to die.

Statted Equips

Don’t. Don’t NPC these. Sell them in a private shop with around 100k-1m added to the auto price, depending on usefulness and level of stats. E.g. My pangrill sword has +3str +2dex, which are really useful stats to me since I’m going blade. However, something like a Pangrill sword +4 int, is not very useful, although it adds a crap load of int. Something that could sell for a lot would be something like a Guardian Stick +4int +4sta. ( I once had a staff that added 2 str and 2 dex >>”)

Don’t NPC these.

CWing

No experience here. I’ll put it on when I do CW.

Awakening your items

Because this is such an efficient, and quick way of making big cash, I’ve decided to put it on a seperate page. If you get a very good awakened stat, people could pay you over 50m for it.

What?

Awakening is a little gift brought to us by v11 himself, and it is a very efficient, and quick way to make big cash. You simply pay 100k to awaken the stats of a suit, weapon, or shield, i.e. giving it extra stats.

The downside to this is that you could get a very bad stat added e.g. -500 HP, and there is no way to reverse it except with a Scroll of Reversion from the cash shop, that costs around 30m on Lawolf server. Because many people, understandably, do not want to pay 30m for a scroll, it is best to awaken a low level item(shields) or cheap blue items, so that if you do get a bad stat, you can simply drop it, or NPC it.

To allow the awakened item to be used by the most people possible, many people awaken low level shields such as a Green Shield, or a shield you can buy from Flaris. Which shield you choose is simply because of aesthetic reasons. BPs, Psys, most first jobbers, and all vagrants. Another good choice is to awaken a stick. Sticks are useful for ALL assists, including RMs AND BPs. E.g. a +20INT awakened stick will significantly increase buff timers, which is useful to both BPs and RMs.

How?

Where: In Central Flaris

Who: Talk to [Jewel Manager]

Method:

1. Talk to [Upgrading Specialist]BoboChan

2. Click “Trade”

3. Buy scrolls of awakening for 100k each

4. Use them from your inventory

Which?

Want to know which awakenings are good, and which are average?

The good:

-Anything with over 100 attack/defense

-Over 200 HP/MP

-Over 20 STR/STA/DEX/INT

-Anything with around +10% ASPD or more

-Anything with magic motion time decrease 5% or more

-Adds 5% speed or more

-Adds 5% or more critical rate

-A combination of any of the above

-A combination of the average stats, or stacked

The average:

-Adds 1~10 STR

-Adds 1~100 HP/MP

-Adds 1~50 attack/defense

-Adds 1%~5% ASPD

-Adds 1%~5% speed

The bad:

-Anything that subtracts stats, unless it subtracts less than it adds, or the bonus stats outweigh the negative ones e.g. +25 STR, -100 HP, +25 INT -1 INT etc. (Obviously these have to be suitable for particular classes i.e. Blades, Knights, Eles, FSRMs, Rangers, Jesters all cannot use a shield while wielding their normal weapons.)

Prices

The ‘good’ awakenings can go for 50m+, and the average awakenings can go for around 1m and under, and well, the bad awakenings, you can just give away ._.

Examples

This is a good awakening because of the combination of good stats added.

This is average because of the lack of attack and defense added.

This is also good because it adds over 100 attack, and it subtracts less magic motion time than it adds.

This is good, because it subtracts less than 100 defense, but adds 22 dex, which is a fair amount. But because no dex classes are able to use a shield, it isn’t very practical.

First Classes

Here is a mini guide to the four first classes and their strengths and weaknesses in each aspect of the game.

Blue means a class is good at something

Red means a class is bad at something

Gianting

Bow acrobat

Junk Arrow; high damage, quick hits. Enough said.

Yoyo Acro

The yoyo acro’s skills, Crossline and Counterattack can make quick work of a giant. With an FS, the yoyo acro becomes even stronger.

1v1 Assist

With their own buffs, they can easily excel in anything. Together with stonehand, assists can easily defeat a giant without too much difficulty. With a good haste and heap, assists can survive hits from the giant, while attacking very fast.

Magician

They have incredibly low defense, or low attack. This depends on their build, but either way, they cannot compensate for each other. When fighting the giant as a magician, you will have to use a lot of food, and a lot of refreshers. Your damage is not high enough to compensate for the slow attack speed.

Leveling/Farming

AoE Assist

Assists get their AoE skill at lv28. This is far earlier than any other class and a great way of taking advantage is to build an AoE assist. AoE assists can make a lot of money by farming, as well as gaining a lot of exp at the same time. Because no other class has an AoE before lv60, except Acrobat, AoE assists are the fastest levelers and farmers before lv60.

Bow Acro

Junk arrow, Junk arrow, junk arrow, mob dead. Rinse and repeat

1v1 Assist

With their powerful buffs, 1v1 assists can train much easier than other classes who don’t have buffs. But when other classes have an FS, the 1v1 assist is easily outmatched unless you have access to good/better equips.

Yoyo acro

One of the hardest classes to level is the Yoyo acro. The yoyo’s strengths: Criticals and the knockback effect, doesn’t come into effect a lot during lower levels, when the critical rate is very low, and attack speeds are extremely low, therefore, the yoyo acro cannot take advantage of the yoyo’s strengths at this level. However, Yoyo acros become extremely strong when they hit Jester, and the power of the yoyos are unleashed.

Stamina Mages

These are usually going to be Crucio psys or AoE elementors. Both use skills that the simple mage doesn’t have access to yet and so sta mages are slow levelers, hitting low (For mages who have to hit high to compensate for slow attack speed) because of little or no int. Although they have a significantly higher tanking ability, mages aren’t meant to tank, but to deal high damage, which sta mages cannot.

Second Classes

Here is a mini guide to the eight second classes and their strengths and weaknesses in each aspect of the game.

Blue means a class is good at something.

Red means a class is bad at something.

No Color means it is up for discussion and/or is an interesting choice.

Gianting

Satanology Psykeeper

These Psykeepers can giant with ease when they successfully use satanology on a giant, which makes them unable to move. Also having access to high damage skills such as spirit bomb, they are second-to-none at gianting. Their only weakness is that the skills take a lot of mp to cast, and they have to rely on refreshers a lot.

Blade

With their high damage melee attacks and even higher crits, two weapons are definitely better than one. When blades are fully buffed, they can do even more damage, and at high attack speeds.

Jester/BJ

Str-type Jesters can be very efficient giant hunters with FS and/or RM buffs, together with counterattack and melee attacks+crit, Jesters can dish out some quick, major damage on giants, while BJs can use the knockback effect to their advantage and barely get hit at all while gianting with the maximized critical %.

Billposter/BRM

Both of these classes have access to buffs at all times, and combined with stonehand, they will be stunning the giant the whole time. Also, the usually underestimated BRM can be very effective when they have access to buffs like Spiriture Fortune and Protect, along with all the assist buffs.

STR Knights

Together with their special passive skill “Swordcross” which is a bit like HC and doubles the damage, knights can dish out a lot of damage while being able tank effectively with their high defense and high HP.

Crucio Psys

If you use this class to giant, it won’t be a pretty sight when almost everyone outdamages you. Crucio Psys rely on their HP, which means they can take on higher leveled giants, but all they can do is reflect the damage the giant does to them. Normal monsters are enough of a trouble for them, let alone giants. Try gianting Kerns at lv60- ohko ._.

Ranger/AoE Knights

Rangers/AoE Knights have a bit of trouble when fighting giants because their skills are AoE, and they usually don’t have as much str and/or dex, because it is sacrificed for sta, so they will not have the accuracy or strength for other classes.

AoE Elementor

These don’t do very well in gianting, since it takes a lot of time and is a lot slower than other classes, since it takes a long time to cast the spells, and the damage isn’t high enough to compensate for the slow casting time. E.g. When I was on my blade, I did 2k-3k (Crits 3.9k) somewhere between half a second to a second, and an elementor doing the same giant did around 4.5k to the giant in a second. Also the AoE elementor has quite a lot of sta in their build, and therefore their damage won’t be great either.

FSRMs

No. Just no. Unless you are BRM. RMs go mostly int, or pure int, which means they will do such a small amount of damage it won’t be worth it to giant. Unless the RM is in a party with a fighter, they are the worst gianters.

Leveling

Crucio Psykeepers

Because of the skill Crucio, Psykeepers can go full sta, and fight Kerns at lv60._. These Psykeepers reflect double the damage done to them. This gives them unbelievable exp, and so they level the fastest for a while. Then they go AoE at lv70+ and level at just the same speed as other AoErs. Note that Crucio built mages level extremely slow from lv15-lv60. Especially with no int and no AoE skill. No crucio either ._.

Blades

With two weapons they can deal extremely high damage at fast speeds. When they have full assist and/or RM buffs, they can kill monsters with ease.

BPs

Yeah! Stun bish! These are great when they solo by themselves (Great when you’re lazy, or just can’t find a partner), and are the best solo’ers because of their assist buffs. A slight drawback is when other classes get buffs as well, although you might still level faster if you have good equips/build.

RMs

Note by Ecclesiastes: Setting aside those ten level wonders like Crucio Psys(lol Kerns at 60…jerks), I’d say RMs are the fastest all around leveling class; this along with their Billposter-esque 1vs1 gives them some good fundraising and versatility potential. A Merkrack RM can giant hunt just as well as a Str AoE BP, and seeing as a lot of players opt for the Str AoE solely for giant hunting on the side, I think it’s a bonus for Str AoE RMs as well. In my opinion, a great class for leveling speed, and just about any path an RM makes can lead to money. Killing giants, Fsing at giants, AoEing with party skills, and all possible with the same build. I use Holycross with a total of 44% decrease in magic motion time, and I’ve never had a 1vs1 turn my Merkrack down after a few test kills.

*FSRMs: These level extremely fast all the time, supporting people up to 19 levels above them to gain maximum exp.

**BRMs: These level pretty much the same as a BP, except without Alext/Ales, or Asmodeus, and has lower STR because of points spent in other areas. These disadvantages are made up with the BRM’s buffs.

***For experts/multi-taskers: Mercrack AoE RM- requires super amounts of attention switching from stick to knuckle/shield to action slot burst crack and replenishing Merkaba to try and maximise the Damage over Time. This way, you can level up to lv80 as an AoE assist/RM using burst crack only, and excel at damage rate from lv80 and onwards. If you just want to cruise through leveling, then this isn’t the class for you. However, if you’re looking for a challenge, definitely try this hybrid class.

AoE BP

There are two different types of AoE BPs. Burst crack and Int AoE.

*Burst crack BPs go mainly STR, with enough STA to tank massive amounts of mobs together with a BP’s innately high HP. They can giant at an average pace, lacking the DEX for a plausible hitrate, but make up for this by AoEing mobs to earn money. This method, however becomes ineffective as you progress through the levels, because of the low speed of burstcrack and the higher defense and HP of mobs.

**Int AoE BPs use the skill Bgvur Tialbold to AoE, which is based on your INT. Additionally, each cast uses one skill poster, which, after a while accumulates and reveals itself to be an expensive method to use when combined with the refreshers needed compared to other methods of leveling. However, Bgvur Tialbold turns out to be the fastest AoE skill when action-slotted, which calls for attention because its speed can, additionally, be increased with Decrease in Magic Motion Time. This is a massive advantage especially with awakenings. Because it requires INT, you will have to FS until Lv70 when it becomes available to you. This means being an FSBP, and lulz from your partners when they find out you don’t have any RM buffs and/or Holycross.

This also may suffer from the lack of damage from Bgvur Tialbold and the HP of mobs. Additionally, you will be unable to giant as a fighter, but as a supporter WITHOUT Holycross and only Assist buffs.

AoE Blades

These may seem great, with the blade’s great block rate and evasion rate and damage of AoE based on DEX, but other AoE classes- especially Knight and Elementor (Rangers are getting nerfed with ice arrow’s effect going out the door) just beat the living crap out of these AoE blades. The Blade AoEs have no element nor effect, while Knights have stun and Elementors have windfield (Slowing effect) and elements. Another disadvantage is the time and trouble of leveling to lv65 with a DEX/STA or full DEX build. Try them if you have an RM supporting you to lv60 or if you have some neat STR boosting equips.

How to sell your hard earned items

Yay ^_^

You’ve probably just scored some nice drops from farming, and now you want to know how to sell them, right?

Where?

When I plan to set up store, I will always set it up in a less crowded location. This allows shoppers to see your shop immediately and is more convenient than running through the lag or trying to click on you.

I recommend you set up your shop in the area where you spawn after blinking to your chosen town i.e. the [Magic] NPC. Not right on it, because then it will be hard to click on you, but rather beside the spot. Also, for added efficiency, put your shop in a stand out area, e.g. on a ledge, or in a relatively empty space- nobody wants to go to all that trouble clicking on a shop in the middle of a crowd. As for which server, always always always always set up your shop in s1.

As for your chosen town, there are a few general guidelines:

Darkon

-Lv45~Lv120 equipment

-Cash shop

-Sunstones/Moonstones

-Socket cards

-Pet feed

When?

A great time to set up shop is during the night- check out the server time and set up your shop according to that time e.g. 6pm and onwards. Nighttime is when people are tired and don’t want to grind, therefore they go to town, relax, and check out some shops. Be wary, nighttimes will vary from country to country with different timezones, but the majority of players are from Europe and/or USA.

Also, it may be nice if you go to sleep/do something else while leaving your shop there overnight/over a few hour period. This is so you don’t get impatient checking every few minutes and finding no one buying anything.

How?

When you go into town, it’s also nice to think about which shops you click first. Then look at the names which told you to click that shop. The best shop names usually have item names on it, especially if those items are expensive. This way, your shop can be opened to more potential buyers looking for the item you have.

A good example of this: Ales+8/CS/Lightning

When you are selling cheap, always always remember to put the price in your shop name, this way people can easily spot a bargain buy and your shop will have more chance of being viewed or items being bought from your shop.

A good example of this: Ales+8 100m/Lightning 100m -OR- CS/Greens 30% off!!!

Another good way of attracting customers is shouting. If you can afford a FS15/FS30, then get it. This way you can shout across all servers, across all places in your cluster. You can spam this while you watch TV. Warning: Don’t overspam it. Just do it once, and wait till it goes off the screen, then spam it again.

A good example of this: Ales+8 100m!::Lightning 100m!::Other CS/Greens 30% off @ Darkon general s1!!! (Pull your chatbox wider to fit more words in.)

Things to Remember

1. Always choose weapons over everything else. Weapons have the highest selling price at NPCs, and most of the time, they are worth the most in shops i.e. greens.

2. When farming, always bring at 2 stacks of food depending on survival and level difference(pills if really necessary), and half or a full stack of blinkwings. This way, you can get to town quicker, while ensuring a large inventory space is free for the results of the farming.

3. Do not NPC statted blues that are lv60+. You can surprisingly sell these in a private shop for quite a lot. People that don’t want to spend a hella of a lot of money on Lv60+ unique weapons will use these. Awaken the blues if you aren’t afraid to lose it i.e. get a bad awake and having to NPC it. IF you’re lucky, the value of the weapon will grow exponentially with a good ad suitable awakening.

4. Don’t spend money on something you don’t need. Unless you are having trouble fighting, you don’t need a mighteer or whatever.

5. When you are setting up shop, it would be nice to talk to your customers, and if they want something, then lower the price for them. Include what you are selling in the name e.g. Sets/Statted/NPC/Necks. This way, it is easier for the buyers to know which shops to go to, and it also makes sure whoever needs your stuff doesn’t miss out, and you don’t miss out on the money. If what you are selling is expensive, give even more specifics, e.g. Alext Set+10/28%\Fire(A)! etc.

6. When farming, fight monsters close to your level. Fighting monsters 8 levels above you will get you a lot of exp, but you won’t get many drops. Preferably mobs within 3-5 levels.

7. Preferably, when ready to kick some mob’s ass for some drops, get a GB party. Unless you’re a high level and/or farming at high leveled mobs, don’t spend too much on trying to get a GB party, or don’t get one at all.

8. When you can’t sell your questies, turn em into pet food! These can sell for around 100-200 penya each, and they add up easily! This is especially good for people with high level pets, who come along and buy all your pet food.
