Flyff Beginner’s Guide

Having trouble starting Fly for Fun? Here are some tips to get you started and how to get level 15 in just about 2 hours. The first thing you should do is go north of Flarine (The town you start off in) and kill small Aiibats. You will level up fast for a while. On the left side of the screen, 2 boxes will appear. One of them is for your stats. As a vagrant (your starting class) you should try to add mostly STR (strength) Your stats will reset after level 15 so you can play around with your stats, just don’t add INT (You wont be using magic as a vagrant). You will get two points to add to your stats each time you level up. Do not do anything with the second box. It is for your skills. If you use your skill points for vagrant skills, you will have to use a special item you get at lvl 15 you might want to use later on (if you use points for vagrant skills, you will regret it later on, trust me). At lvl 2 go directly to captain Aiibats. They are in the same area, just a little bit further north. At level 3, you should move on to Mushpangs.

At lvl 5 you will be able to go kill captain Mushpangs or small Burudeng further north. At level 7 would be a good time to go to the main town. Simply double click a town blinkwing and you will be teleported to town. Look at the navigator and go to the central area shown (Navigator hot key is N). There will be many characters with shops open selling items they found. Go to the weapon shop. They are the NPCs (Non-Player Characters) in the area making swords. There is a man next to them. Click him and buy any armour or weapons you need. You should be able to afford what you need with the money you picked up by killing monsters. You can drag the items you found into his shop and sell them for even more money. Now you are ready to face something more challenging. Go south of town this time. There are more Aiibats here. If you are lucky you might find a giant. Giants have loads of HP and they are much stronger than normal monsters. You can kill this only if you want to earn the items it might drop.

Before you go to kill the giant Aiibatt, get buffs from the buff Pang near the main office that way you can kill the Aiibatt faster and you probably wont die. (By the way, its no big deal to die when your a vagrant, its easy to get the exp you lost back and you wont lose your items no matter what level you are at. Go back north and start training. Try to kill monsters that are 2 lvls higher than you. At level 11 you will be killing Lawolf. At this point a lot of people get confused because there is a dead end at the end of the Lawolf area. Along the edge of the Lawolf area there is a river. Walk along the edge until you find a long bridge. Turn left at the end of the bridge. Here you will find the next monster you will need to train on. As you level move on to the stronger monsters (East on the navigator). When you reach level 15 you will have to decide what job you will get. Here is a small description of each job and where you have to go to start.

Magician: Uses long range attacks, slow but stronger than most attacks. Use a town blinkwing. You will be at the magic shop. Buy a blink wing of Saint Morning from there. The Mage instructor and drill master is there.

Assist: Heals and strengthens with magic and uses barrel-like weapons to fight. Use a town blinkwing. The assist masters are in that area.

Mercenary: Uses swords and axes for close range attacks. Use a town blinkwing. The Mercenary masters are in that area.

Acrobat: Uses bows and arrows or 2 giant yo-yos for long range attacks. Use a town blinkwing and buy a blinkwing of Darkon. The mercenary masters are in Darkon.

When you complete your job quest you will get rare items. Do not trade them or use them. Keep them until you need them or until you know their value.. They are worth a nice sum. Your stats will reset. Depending on your class, you should be able to choose what stats you need. Try to choose one weapon for your class so you will know where you would like to put your skill points and your stats. At lvl 60 you will have to choose between them so it is better to make your stats and skill for that weapon at lvl 15. Happy flyffing!
